Many years ago Cerro de Itrabo
was the favourite local take-off. This was
all before the new take-offs were discovered
closer to Almunecar. The access is not an
easy one but nevertheless because of it's
good thermals it's worth a trip.

HG: on the beach 'Playa
Velilla'. PG: With enough height it
is better to land on the beach called
'Velilla' In the cove from 'La Galera'
good landing skills are required. Beginners
should only fly with the support of
a local professional flying guide.

Cerro de Itrabo is not
possible to drive to with every type
of car. Take the new street to 'Jete-Otivar'
in the direction to Itrabo. Then a junction
brings you to the take-off.
