Castala is the mountain range set back parallel to the highway in between Motril and Almeria. At the 2000 meters high take-off you'll see fantastic views of the Sierra Nevada and to the south of the sea. |

From the highway Motril - Almeria take the exit Berja and drive to Berja, and through the town Castala. There's good street to the landing place and a good gravel road to the take-off. |
| Dangers / Info's |

They used to dig for copper here. Big holes between 100 and 300m deep. These hole are around the take-off area and it's not advisable to let children play run around here. Avoid flying over goats and sheep. Pay attention to the national park regulations. |
